Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briesm, an Icelandic performer, is best known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman who will later be the spouse to Henry VIII) in the television series The Tudors. Also for the character of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem was 9 when she started acting in the Icelandic National Theater. Her early involvement was in a variety of TV and radio shows, plays and productions throughout Iceland.
